A full power (squat, bench and deadlift) meet for trans, nonbinary, GNC and other non-cis athletes! Our goal is to offer a welcoming and inclusive space, whether this is your first time or 50th go around. Non-competitive option to participate is available and encouraged if you're curious about doing a meet but nervous about being judged or scored!Signup is live and available through the IATBP member portal (membership required -- link to signup or log in via the button below.) Once signed in to your member page, you'll find a link to sign up for this specific meet. Membership fee is $49, lifter fee for this meet is sliding scale between $30-75. signing up for multiple divisions
Participation in multiple divisions is allowed! Unfortunately, due to an error on our end when setting up the site, it's not possible through the form. If you'd like to participate in multiple divisisions, please sign up for one through the form and then reach out to Max directly! He would be happy to sign you up for any other divisions manually.
Non-competitive track
Option to participate non-competitively is available! We will ask if folks want this option during initial lifter check-in at weigh-ins. If lifting non-competitively, a singlet is not required, but still recommended.
About the gym
Solcana Fitness is a queer and women-owned gym in Minneapolis focused on inclusive and welcoming group fitness classes.The entrance to the gym is on Minnehaha Ave, and there is lots of free parking nearby! Below is a diagram of best options. There is a large city lot behind the gym (enter from Snelling) as well as plenty of free parking along Snelling. Parking is also available, though more competitive, along Minnehaha and adjacent neighborhood streets.For public transit, there are a number of bus stops both along Lake Street and Minnehaha for the Metro B Line, 7, and 27.

COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS

AMAB - Assigned Male at Birth
AFAB - Assigned Female at Birth
HRT - Hormone Replacement TherapyIATBP competitions will include some or all of the following divisions:- Femme I (AMAB folks 0-12 months HRT including AMAB folks choosing not to begin HRT)
- Femme II (AMAB folks 12+ months on HRT)- Masc I (AFAB folks 0-12 months HRT including AFAB folks choosing not to begin HRT)
- Masc II (AFAB folks 12+ months on HRT)- Gender-Nonconforming I (AMAB folks 12+ months on HRT, and AFAB folks 0-12 months HRT including AFAB folks choosing not to begin HRT)
- Gender-Nonconforming II (AMAB folks 0-12 months HRT including AMAB folks choosing not to begin HRT, and AFAB folks 12+ months on HRT)- Open Division (for anyone regardless of gender or HRT status and does not want to be in a category based on HRT status but rather just their weight category, if applicable, based on number of athletes registered in this division for BODYBUILDING, or by their DOTS score for POWERLIFTING)NOTE: Explanations, justification, powerlifting equations, and FAQ on our divisions can be found in our Gender Divisions FAQ doc.We have the option to split divisions into evenly distributed subdivisions using age, weight or heights as the criteria. We will likely subdivide divisions by weight class and age if any division reaches a sufficient number of competitors.
